I’ve been feeling like I’ve been sitting on the Jewel of the Nile for the past two months! Seriously, it has not been easy to hold onto these pics and not tell you all on instagram about the private family art experience we’ve been brewing up in the art studio. I had to work out the kinks first, try it out on my family and a few others, and now, we’ve got it down. Offering a private experience like this in our community has been on my bucket list before I ever even had an art studio. I am so excited to kick off 2017 with a truly memorable experience for you and your family.

If you’re not local, I promise to post details about our family art experience in the upcoming weeks, including the how to, art supplies, canvas information, and do’s and don’ts. But for now, if you’re an Angeleno or an LA visitor wanting a truly special experience, plus family artwork you can talk about for years to come, a private art session may be just the thing.
Now, every family is different. We are definitely on the sappier side of things, so if you’re like “What’s up with all the mushy gushy stuff?” that part is optional. But if you’re into sappy like us, hey, hey, hey, we’re so ready for you.
I’m going to walk you through the whole experience and how you can do it at home in a future post, but for now, here is a little taste of what a private family art experience looks like in the studio.
*Photographer available upon request if you wish to document the experience and have the best family photo album ever.
We will have all the supplies and canvases you need to either work collaboratively or individually on a large scale to see what this process art thing that I’m always going on and on about, is all about. We’ve had so many moms already in the studio point out our family artwork and say “Can you make me that for my living room?!” The answer is “I can’t, but you can!”
I’ve got tons of tricks up my sleeve to help you come home with a modern masterpiece made by your whole family. I want you dancing your way out of the studio feeling like you’re sitting on the Jewel of the Nile as well.
We didn’t actually plan on the dancing part but there is something about art making that sets you free, and that is exactly what this experience is all about. Leave your expectations and judgements at the door and let us help you have a fantastic art making experience with you and your family.
It truly would be my honor and pleasure to give you a family art experience that inspires and connects us all. If you’re interested in finding out more, including price and availability, please email me directly at email@example.com. Space is limited. I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks for reading along. xo, Meri
